Vizsla

Vizsla dogs are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world. They are a medium-sized, short-haired hunting dog with a sleek body and long tail. They have pointed ears that stand upright and a long, thin muzzle. Vizslas are known for their excellent tracking skills, their intelligence, and their endurance.

Vizslas were originally bred in Hungary to hunt game birds such as pheasant, partridge and quail. Their hunting instincts can make them difficult to train at home; they are often described as “Velcro dogs” because they stick so close to their owners’ sides.
